What is Sauna

The Finnish word SAUNA, Meaning heat, stones and water. From the age old, (more than 2000 years) traditional bathing culture from Finland. The main elements to a sauna are: timber walls, sauna heater with sauna stones, wooden benches, water supply along with a water bucket and ladle. Used for cleansing the body, using water to wash and water on the stones to create steam to adjust the moisture content of the environment inside of the sauna, along with releasing negative ions, helps relieve stress, assisting with the bodies healing process, releasing toxins from the body through sweating along with many other health benefits Temperature: 70 degrees Celsius minimum or more depending on the bather. (Destroys bacteria as it raises the inner body temperature)

What is a STEAM ROOM

From the days of the Romans (the Roman baths or Turkish baths). 100 percent wet environment, used for cleansing the body and revitalizing the skin in a pleasant and relaxing way, enveloped in warm clouds of thick steam. Temperature: 30 to 50 degrees Celsius. (To low to destroy bacteria).

What is an INFRA-RED warming cabin?

A Recent introduction, Used in some countries to warm occupants, in some cases prior to and after exercise, a relaxing warm and dry experience, where sweating may occur at a lower temperature, however, water cannot be used on the heating elements to adjust the moisture content of the environment, often causing the occupants skin to dry and require moisturizers to be applied. Does NOT provide the same benefits as the Traditional Sauna. Temperature: Average 50 degrees Celsius. (To low to destroy bacteria).Unfortunately, in many cases has been mistaken as the Traditional Sauna and in the whole of United Europe the word SAUNA is not allowed to be used when referring to the Infra-red warming cabin.
